Your wardrobe – three colors!
If your wardrobe seems boring to you, try adding some color and playing with it for different options for women’s outfits. To make the outfit more interesting, you can try using three colors: base color, accent color, pop color.
The base color in clothing is usually neutral, has longevity, and won’t go out of style anytime soon. Suits, dresses, skirts in neutral colors have a chance to form the basis of a successful women’s outfit if the color accent is chosen correctly.
Accenting things form the top of the outfit – these are blouses, sweaters, blazers, jackets. Accent colors can be neutral hues or colorful ones that work in reverse of the base hue. Any color can be combined with black, and with other basic neutral colors.
Pop color is the color that adds the finishing touch to an outfit and is usually the part that most women neglect. These are jewelry, shoes, bags, belts, etc. The pop color always complements the accent color, either tonally or as a contrast to the accents.
You can, of course, add more colors to one outfit than just three, but using three colors in an outfit is considered ideal. An outfit in three colors will never let you down. As they say, three colors and one task – to make your outfit sophisticated and elegant. Your wardrobe will benefit greatly if you follow these simple tips.
