Color is life. Color is everywhere, in the clothes you want to buy, in your jewelry. In children’s clothing, you need to think carefully about the color scheme so that it not only matches the fashion trends, but also looks beautiful. Here is some color theory for fashionistas. The primary colors are red, blue and yellow which kids love so much. In theory, you can make any of these three colors (except white, which is actually the absence of a color). In practice, it depends where you start, but we’re not mixing colors here, so just remember that the primary colors are red, blue, and yellow. You will find out why in the next step.
Secondary colors are the colors you get from mixing equal amounts of any two primary colors. Mixing all three will give you black. The secondary ones are purple, orange and green.
Now why do you need to know? Well, the primary and secondary together give us complementary colors from which, for example, dresses are made even more attractive. A complementary color is a color directly opposite from it on the color wheel, or, if starting from primary, colors from a mixture of two other primary. So essentially the color and its complement contain all the primaries in between. Red’s compliment is green. The complement of Yellow is purple. The complement of Blue is orange. This is the same difference as you can get between colors and the same value (brightness or darkness). – don’t forget that.
Secondary colors are made by mixing equal parts of any two secondary colors. Thus, the secondary colors are green (yellow and blue), orange (yellow and red), and violet (blue and red). Let’s say you have a yellow dress and you want to spice up that outfit a bit. If it’s during the daytime, you can use a rich purple for jewelry and accessories. This classic combination of purple and yellow is very noticeable and catches the eye. However, you do not always want to be in the spotlight, but you need to buy beautiful clothes for children, teach them from childhood to be beautiful and mix colors in clothes correctly so that they have an incentive to strive for the best, while this will make it possible to combine outfits correctly and save on their purchase.
