Surely you have noticed more than once how young girls “grow old” before our eyes, putting on the old unsuitable styles of women’s clothing. Or how does a woman in her 50s look younger than her peers because she does not wear colorful headscarves and women’s robes-like dresses?
Clothes can both add and subtract several years. Agree, all women want to look young and attractive at any age. Therefore, we will divide women’s clothing into two categories – youthful and aging.
Youthful women’s clothing. This list will include only those women’s clothing that can be worn regardless of age. All the same, it would be strange to see an adult woman in a teenage dress with a cartoon print.
– Jeans. Skinny or boyfriends, ripped or worn, will take a few years off and look casual, while a classic cut will make the outfit more mature.
– Dresses with a high waist will not only hide possible flaws in the figure, but also give a slight romance inherent in young girls.
– Cropped tops and women’s sweaters, cardigans. Again, if the figure permits. Such women’s clothing is capable of both “rejuvenating” for ten years and spoil the whole impression if it presents to the eyes of those around the not pumped up abs.
– Oversized tops and women’s sweaters are suitable for those who have imperfections in the waist area. In this case, they will subtract several years.
– Short shorts, ladies’ skirts or dresses. You also need to be extremely careful with these clothes so as not to go too far and not look vulgar. If you are not shy about showing your legs, add a few similar things to your women’s wardrobe.
Aging clothes. You can add to this list whatever clothes your grandmother can wear without risking looking ridiculous in front of her friends. You can also include things that are too expensive and conservative.
– Classic trousers with an arrow. They will add ten years even to the youngest girls, especially in a set with a conservative jacket and a closed blouse.
– Jackets with a high neckline will also add age. Modern models are made with a deep cut and very often with 3/4 sleeves ;.
– Knitted sets. Choose with extreme care, or don’t wear them together. A sweater and a cardigan made of the same yarn is not the best combination for those who want to look younger.
– Small floral prints. Small prints with floral patterns are now popular. But, if the drawing seems to you something similar to the one depicted on your grandmother’s robe, put this thing aside. You will hardly look younger in such clothes.
– Tweed suits. Unless you want to look like a conservative, aged lady, this is not the fabric to choose. Look for more modern heavyweight fabrics. The above categories are rather arbitrary and you should not give up clothes that have fallen into any of the lists. It is important to combine clothes correctly.
Clothes can also age because they are made of fabric that has not been produced for a long time or the pattern does not fit into the fashion trends of the season. Observe people around, analyze their images. Periodically go shopping just to find out what fashion trends are currently relevant, try on clothes and think about how new items can fit into your usual wardrobe.
